The Stalled Repair - a guide to shockwave and regenerative therapy for pain that will not heal on its own

Fourteen pages. Read it in about twenty minutes. We will email you a copy and you can start reading straight away.

Start with page 7

Most clinics that offer shockwave own one machine. It is usually the radial one. We are the only clinic in San Diego County with all three — focused shockwave, radial shockwave and EMTT.

Radial energy spreads out near the surface. If your problem sits several centimetres down — a hip, a deep tendon insertion, bone — surface energy does not reach it, and nobody is going to raise that with you once you are already on the table.

Page 7 explains the difference between radial and focused shockwave, roughly where your own problem sits, and what to ask before you book anywhere. It is the one page that changes how you shop.

What else is in it

  • Why an injury that is months old stops responding to rest — what we call the stalled repair.
  • What actually happened when the cortisone injection wore off.
  • Where the research is strong, and where it is honestly still thin.
  • What a course of treatment involves, how long a session takes and what it feels like.
  • Why EMTT is included with every regenerative therapy program here rather than sold as an add-on.
  • The problems this is not the right tool for — and what is.
  • What to think about if someone has already recommended surgery or another injection.

Who this is written for

Someone with an injury that has not healed. Usually months. Often years.

Most people reading it have already tried the sensible things — rested it, done a course of physical therapy that helped for a while and then stopped helping, maybe had an injection that bought a few good weeks before the ache crept back.

If you were hurt last week, this is not your guide yet. Give it time and see what happens first.
